78 episodes produced 1959-1961. Finucane is a hard-nosed policeman with the San Diego, California Police Department while Ben Andrews is a reporter with the Chronicle newspaper. Both men worked well together while Finucane was assisted by young cops in 10 to 15 of the 78 episodes. The musical score was up-to-date jazz.
