Opening Speech
At the opening of the first Montreal International Film Festival, animation director Norman McLaren comes out on stage to give the opening speech. Unfortunately, his microphone has a prankish mind of its own, and is determined to keep him from speaking. This leads to a struggle and a solution that only McLaren could create.
