Apple Pie

Set in depression-era Kansas City, this comedy was based around a single hairdresser's unique approach to curing her lonliness: She put an ad in the newspaper and recruited the folks who met her criteria to be her new family. Filling the new positions were con-artist husband Eddie, tap-dancing daughter Anna-Marie, a son known only as 'Junior', and an elderly grandfather.
