Dear Detective

Kate Hudson is an attractive, gravelly-voiced undercover detective with the Los Angeles Police Department. Divorced, she's raising her young daughter Lisa, while engaging in a romantic relationship with an English literature professor at UCLA. Juggling all these different hats isn't easy, especially when Kate is forced to stand up one of her loved ones to pursue a new lead or tackle a new case.
