Headhunter Laura Petersen is hired by Dr. Egon Wirtz to offer his ambitioned younger colleague Hans Bergmann a position at their competitor Giga Pharma. Thereby he wants to compromise him, while both apply for the same management position in their company. Bergmann is immediately attracted to the stunning blonde, and realizes the intrigue much too late. While Laura's much too professional to return his feelings, she agrees to help him when she learns how she's been misused.
