Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes: Having a Party Live at the Stone Pony
This is an excellent DVD, it was recorded live at the last concert in the Stone Pony, Asbury Park, NJ,in 1992. Southside is on stage with 'The Best Barband in The World', Max Wienberg on drums, Gary Talent on Bass, Bobby Bandiera on Guit, along with the now world famous Asbury Jukes horn section,with La Bamba, Joey Stann, Ed Mannion and the Love Man, The Boss turns up to do some backing singing, along with original Juke, Stevie Van Zandt(Miami Steve, Little Steven)and part time Juke, Jon Bon Jovi. The Jukes are undoubtedly one of the hottest things to come out of the Jersey Shore, and this concert proves it beyond a Shadow of a doubt. Southside takes us through the Jukes catalogue of great songs, like The Fever,Love on the Wrong Side of Town, Working To Hard and All Night Long, to name but a few tunes given out in the Jukes world famous Joisee Shore fashion :-)The DVD ends with the Recording of 'It's been a Long Time' and the actual Promo Video, of the, then Jukes new single, featuring Little Steven and The Boss.A must for all Joisee Shore Rock Fans :-).Northside
