When Louis, an amateur stand-up comedian inadvertently steals a ring from another comic, people finally start laughing at his jokes. In fact, they laugh at everything he says. But trouble with his girlfriend and the realization that no one will ever take him seriously again, cause Louis to question whether being funny is all its cracked up to be.
