Produced by evangelist Pat Robertson's CBN Network, 'Another Life' initially emerged as a daily religious serial, which attempted to add a touch of 'Christian morality' to traditional soap stories. Centering on the beleaguered Davidson family of Kingsley, Virginia, 'Another Life' faced low-ratings and soon segued into more typical soapy fare, as murders, kidnappings, and an extremely bizarre story about a demonic cult leader highlighted its final years.
