Mini series depicting how was life in Rio de Janeiro in the 1950s, and the difficult romantic relationships among young people, having to deal with the sexual repression of the time. The story is centered on the love affair between a military school student and a girl studying to be a teacher. But the boy's mother was divorced, which was kind of taboo at the time and for that reason, the girl's family didn't think he was suitable for her.
