There's no sign of Scrappy to be seen in this comic-strip study of a carnival's midway, but there is a lot going on, what with Oopie running a lemonade stand, where a lot of alcohol gets mixed into the brew.Traveling carnivals had a reputation back in the day for riotous bad times that made them the bane of small-town moralism .... and a source of revenue for small-town law enforcement who weren't adverse to looking the other way for a sum that could vary from a few free tickets up to sizable cash payments. There's a lot fo that implied in the background of this funny little cartoon.
