The House of Pulcini
La casa dei pulcini
Three little children live in an orphanage which is next to the school where little Lauretta is a pupil. The three befriend her and one night they climb the wall separating the orphanage from the school because they want to see fireworks. One of the boys is however wounded by a firecracker and at his sickbed his nanny and Lauretta's father meet. The two both with unfortunate love stories behind them, learn to love each other.
