The TI-Nspire is used to expand and problem solve as each concept is introduced. Practical examples include how scientists at the Large Hadron Collider apply geometric concepts in the design of the particle accelerator, and the efficiency of the typical grid structure of cities like Houston, Texas. Distances on the city grid are compared using line and arc segments.
