John Alexander Jimenez' A Little Off the Top immediately sets a sinister mood (intense close-ups, 40's noir music, use of b & w) as a well dressed, cocky executive steps into a seedy and dangerous neighborhood. As he gets a hair-cut, he disparages the barber, but the barber gets his revenge.
