In the 1950s, Sally and Johnny are two teenagers in love. But when an alien abducts Sally, Johnny loses his sanity and becomes a poor homeless hippie in the 1960s. His only chance to get out of the rut he is in is to write a novel about his true love Sally. But will his book make it? And will Sally ever come back?
