Doctor Giorgia

Georgia works as a gynaecologist in a hospital in Rome. Her team consists of two male doctors and four male and female nurses, with whom she gets on very well. One day she insist on taking in Benedetta, a pregnant drug addict, although everyone else is against the decision. Georgia and her husband are very happy when she finds out that she’s expecting a baby. But during a fight between the drug addict and her dealer, Georgia tries to help and loses her baby. Benedetta shares the room with Anna, a woman who can’t have children. Initially they do not like each other but when they get to know one another they become friends. Finally Benedetta allows Anna and her husband to adopt the child which she didn’t desire.
