Meus Filhos, Minha Vida
Here is a small review written by a non-Engilsh native speaker- sorry for the mistakes. I never watch soaps, but this one is exceptional for me, as I associate it with one of the best vacation in my life in 1993, when a new and very popular channel in Poland in that time showed the serial. The story is showed in a pretty traditional way, there is nothing vulgar, no porn, there is a time for reflection / concentration on a given person / event. The film will never find any acceptance by someone who watches thrillers produced in the 00's , there are some absorbing criminal threads though. It makes pleasure to see the traditional harmony in Brazilian family. That's what modern Europe is loosing / missing. We had it too! The central person in that serial is experienced, suffering for a time poor lonely mother, who finally found her 3 sons, who make 3 different complex stories. The actors act in a good and natural way, every person has its unique character. I personally didn't like the conceited and boorish Andrea, but the director created him intentionally so. Charming Zilda made the viewer a compensation. I'd recommend the film for someone, who'd like to see a different world, similar to the European one before the moral revolution, which- at least on the telly- doesn't exist any more. The disadvantage is (sometimes)the not necessary repeating of some sentences in a different way. It slows the course too much, but it is possible to forgive it the director, the series is still unique.
