After the German occupation of Czechoslovak Republic, in 1939. Karl, a young Wehrmacht soldier, is on his way to Prague with a small group of other soldiers. Suddenly there is a single shot out of nowhere... The soldiers search the forest. The Partisan can not be far away. For Karl, this is a new experience. He tries to think clearly. But the longer the search takes, the more difficult it gets for him. Can he feel safe in the group? Or is he as lonely as his "enemy"? Is the Partisan even close? And then, will everything just happen automatically? Or will he be forced to make a decision?
