Hang Your Dog in the Wind

Five friends in Los Angeles are snapped out of their boredom and lethargy by a letter from their friend Nick, who disappeared months ago. In the letter, Nick invites them out to his home, now at "Mile Marker 40." They find Nick living in a trailer in the middle of the desert. Over the course of several days, the trampoline, some LSD and a poker game leave some of the friends changed, and some more the same than ever.
