Leon Errol, in order to save expenses, decides to get his daughter married. He picks a wealthy young man as the prospective groom, but his daughter has her eyes set on someone else. Pushing onward, Leon rents an apartment for his daughter and the prospective son-in-law of his choice. His wife, Dorothy (Dorothy Granger), thinks he is setting up a love nest for another woman.
