Good Sportsmanship
Two young boys are taught the value of teamwork and the effectiveness of putting the group's welfare ahead of their own. They are shown that--in line with the prevailing attitudes of the early 1950s--individual initiative is to be discouraged and are instructed that if they go along with what the group wants and don't make waves, "everyone will like you better."
