Vsya korolevskaya rat
Soviet TV adaptation of the eponymous novel by Robert Penn Warren. Life and career of a fictitious Governor Willie Stark, played by Georgi Zhzhyonov, is a loose portrayal of Governor Hue Long of Louisiana, who was in fact murdered by the gun shot in 1935. Stark and his entourage are shown as part of ruthless political machinery and power struggle in the USA.
