Personally, I think this movie is absolutely brilliant. Malayalam movies have the usual theme of Romance story lines, which gets boring. This movie has to be given a good score due to the director using a different storyline.Udhyogastha is about a honest and kind lady officer who sacrificed her life for the sake of her family.It was a multi star movie which have all the main stars of that era like Sathyan,Prem Nazir,K.P Ummar,Madhu,Thikkurishi Sukumaran Nair,Kottarakkara Sreedharan Nair,T.S Muthayya,Nellikkodu Bhaskaran,Adoor Bhasi,Kaduvakkulam Antony etc.This was the first film of Shobha as a child actress.After the movie's grand success,the director kn-owned as 'Udhyogastha Venu'.
