It was a lonesome old burg the boy found, back on his vacation. Interesting possibilities appeared in the girl across the street. He started in to show her life. It lifted the veil of his intention. Then came his repentance. She forgave as the "Book of books" directed. The mother of ambition and wealth stepped in, but the boy took off his coat and got to work. As for the rest, a mother's a mother.
