After a secret and passionate whirlwind romance, Petros, the handsome son of an affluent family, abandons his impecunious sweetheart and mother of his child, Marina. Refusing to accept her pleas for mercy, eventually, Petros sees the error of his ways, and takes pregnant Marina in as the household's live-in maid.
