In a Dogon village, the storyteller Egnelou explains that each night many stories are told to make the people think, to give advices and ideas. The young interpret his stories, and reflect on different aspects of the daily life in the Dogon society: the relationship between husband and wife, respect for taboos, incest, the value of work, etc.
