This is the first part of a trilogy of films telling the history of Modern Southern Literature. Entitled Tell About the South, Part One, this film includes such writers as the Fugitive Poets, the Blues Poets, William Faulkner, Zora Neale Hurston, Thomas Wolfe, Erskine Caldwell, Tennessee Williams and many others.
