The actual title of this movie is actually: Luan Shi Lang Zhong, instead of Ruan Shi Lang Zhong, and the literal translation of the title is: the doctor who disturbed the world.Long Zhong is a Chinese phrase used to describe the traditional Chinese doctors who treat their patients with traditional herb medicine, acupuncture, acupressure, and massage. This movie is loosely based on the experience of the doctor-turned revolutionary but what appeared to be a good drama based on the true story was tarnished by the lousy attempt of forcing a romantic and love story to be added. This addition of love/romance did absolutely nothing to help, and instead, worsen the overall quality because it makes this movie appear more to be a political propaganda work.
