A mysterious stranger plants suspicion in Charles Puffy's wife that he is a dangerous Bluebeard. She sees Puffy cutting a slice of cake with a large knife and her fears are confirmed. The stranger also tells Puffy that his wife is a notorious poisoner of husbands and he is next.
