The armed partisan has requisitioned the white circus horse to transport a radio over a long distance. The animal trainer has no choice but to go with him, as the horse is his only source of livelihood and will not obey anybody else. The two cautiously try to find common ground as companions. The police intercept them. In the ensuing gun battle, the poor circus artiste realizes that the game of cops-and-robbers is actually a life-and-death struggle. With his accurate shooting, he joins in the struggle. The unexpected death of the partisan shocks him. A hostile captor now becomes a dear friend. The animal trainer proceeds to carry through the mission.
