Shelby Naylor is recuperating from a motorcar accident which killed her husband. While listening to her husband's police scanner, Shelby overhears a phone conversations of a man arguing with his wife. Shelby also overhears the man talking with another woman which he is having an affair. Shelby contacts the police after a woman is found murdered - the woman is the wife of the couple she heard arguing. This places Shelby's life in jeopardy
