At a boy's prep school, four boys attack and punch another boy. One of the attackers narrates. We see the four attackers in various activities: wrestling, playing in the orchestra, sitting in class, writing, running cross country. Is the victim dead? Why was he attacked? A teacher sharpens pencils; another discusses "Oedipus Rex." A father drives his son to school. The everyday has a subtext.
