A teenager named Abigail Harper is rebellious, pretty, and smart. Her bishop calls her to become president of the newly organized Retrenchment Society. She and the other members have a lot of fun and do many worthwhile activities. One night, Abigail wears immodest attire to a church social dance and joins the town's crazy crowd at a saloon. Then, Abigail is faced with a dilemma if she should continue as president of the society.
