News correspondent, Hie-jeong, is sent to Japan. There she employs Sang-jun as her guide and interpreter. Sang-jun is also working with North Korean agents who want to kidnap the outspoken reporter. Hie-jeong is angered by the sensationalism of the Japanese press and denounces it during a live television interview with a politician.
