Angelina, a young Italian woman, vows to be faithful to her elderly husband, on his deathbed, for the rest of her life. As she mourns his death, she visits his gravesite everyday where she buries her lingerie. This spurs the towns young Cassanova, Duccio, to plot and make her break her vow.
