Showstoppers is a TV talent search show. Talent judges Michael Hurst and Stacey Daniels selected the eight Showstoppers from hundreds of hopefuls who auditioned in Christchurch, Wellington, and Auckland, New Zealand. The episodes show auditions and the selection process, plus the training and preparation of the finalists for the variety show which is shown in the finale.
