Jesse is a young girl with a crush on her brother Eric's friend Randy. When the boys respond with teasing, Jesse turns to the friendship of the somewhat disreputable, motorcycle-riding older girl next door. The friendship offers Jesse new experiences and a new perspective on her sense of self.
