Escaping a rebellion in the Je Kingdom of China, a prince is forced to become a beggar. He makes his way to the Kingdom of Yeon where he rescues the princess from kidnappers and confess his love for her. However, because of the apparent class differences, he is imprisoned for loving above his station.
