Biographical portrait of Helen Bamber, Founder/Director of The Medical Foundation For The Care Of Victems Of Torture in London's Kentish Town. The programme, presented by former Beirut hostage John McCarthy, tells the story of Bamber's lifelong commitment to human rights causes. The film's writer/director was given special access by The Medical Foundation and the progamme includes first-ever filmed material of Foundation staff working with traumatised clients from all around the world.
