Alone

An older man buckles his pants while looking down on a teen who's sitting on a bed. He leaves; she throws things in a large gym bag and climbs out the bedroom window after throwing her driver's license on the floor. Later, in a park, two men drinking from bottles in paper bags ask her to join them. She does. She tells her story; they offer heroin. It's a cautionary tale, with statistics about runaways, abuse, and anonymous death in America.
