Billy, a traveler from England arrives at a boarding house in rural Ireland, only to fall in love with the innkeeper's beautiful daughter. She believes that he will take her away, but he finds the Irish countryside charming. Their affair arouses the jealousey of a rival suitor and Billy will discover the true nature of Ireland.
