Lyle Mack lives and works in the small city of Colma, (the only true Necropolis in the USA) a town where death is a way of living. Haunted by his father's recent passing and his mother's decline into alcohol and depression he struggles to make sense of his life. In his work he meets and falls in love with a strange and beautiful girl that teaches him that not all in life is always what it seems.
