After getting in trouble in class for talking about the Shadow Man, young Kevin is forced to stay after school. As the sun sets and the shadows lengthen, Kevin grows more and more fearful. When he's finally released by his teacher, Kevin races to reach his home before the streetlights come on. But along the way he discovers firsthand that the Shadow Man is very real indeed - and it intends to claim Kevin as its next victim.
