Johnson's eating breakfast; his house mate Neil sits down gingerly and begins quizzing him about last night. Neil's bottom hurts and he wants to get to the bottom of what happened. Johnson denies any knowledge. Neil questions Johnson sharply and in detail. They replay the interrogation through the day, including in front of Halloween trick-or-treaters, and the Neil's evidence mounts. Johnson's defense is vigorous. The truth will out?
