AIR BAND or How I Hated Being Bobby Manelli's Blonde Headed Friend is a tale of friendship, rivalry, and rock n roll set in the late 1980's. Bobby Manelli and Darren Woodward are best friends and founders of the top winning air band* Macabre (pronounced Ma-Cab-Ree), which regularly performs at the local skating rink. Despite being best friends and equals back home in the neighborhood, at the skating rink Darren has always lived in Bobby's shadow as "his blond headed friend". Their friendship is pushed to the limit when rival air band leader Jonathan Drake steps onto the scene to challenge Macabre's long held position as number one.
