Last Call

'Last Call' tells the story of former major league pitcher and former prison inmate Dominic Santoro. Dominic once had his ideal career and family, and then foolishly lost them both. He put his life back together in a smaller, more manageable way. He owns a dive bar and drinks alone after closing. This life is disrupted by a young female reporter who stirs up feelings from his past. He realizes he must reach out to his estranged daughter. This is not the kind of film that has a perfect Hollywood ending, but it does leave us with the feeling that Dominic is dealing with his past and moving on into a brighter future.
