Carrie's Choice

Adult Carrie is married, 9 months pregnant, and a successful architect. Her impending birth brings back memories an early experience. 1987. Young Carrie meets Ted, a handsome actor, and wins a prestigious one-time opportunity to study abroad. Life's great. Then she has sex with Ted. Her roommate, Jasmine, tells her to use a condom. Carrie is too embarrassed, Ted never broaches the issue. When Carrie finally goes to get on the pill, it is too late. The film explores Carrie's choices from keeping the baby, to adoption, and finally abortion. In the end it is a decision that ultimately Carrie alone must make. Finally we are brought back to the adult Carrie, in contractions, with her loving husband by her side.
