This is a documentary about the heroic fate of the Rhodope insurgents at the time of the Uprising on St. Elijah's Day. The phenomenon of the Rhodope Liberation Movement- the Slaveynov's Squad was formed out of 16 first cousins. Till 1912 when the middle Rhodopes were finally liberated, the squad has become a real liberation army.
