Larry, a never-has-been boxer with a dream, loses a fight, and plunges his manager and best friend Chris into $10,000 of debt with the mob. Vincenzo, a mob thug, has rigged the next fight to get the money back, provided Chris can convince his best friend to give up on his dream and lay down. What Chris doesn't tell him is that Vincenzo plans to kill Chris if he doesn't.
