Roman, a reclusive student, and his neurotic roommate spy on their neighbours from their apartment window. Becoming enamoured with his attractive neighbour, Roman poses as a random caller to become acquainted. As he slowly wins her trust he is forced to conceal his true identity. Things go wrong when Roman's roommate Albert, who has been kept in the dark, recognizes his new girlfriend.
