Booth

With the cavalry in pursuit, John Wilkes Booth and accomplice David Herald hide in a farm's tobacco shed near the road to Bowling Green. Booth wants to stay and fight. The two men talk into the night, sharing whiskey. Booth sees himself as giving American back to the people in a time of unrest. He also expresses his Southern allegiance, his racism, and his belief that he's God's instrument. Herald is now less sure of their cause and the value of the assassination. How many shots will be fired at the shed?
